HOW TO BOOK

Any referral to Thrive Nutrition & Dietetics (or to Sophie Lewandowski) can be booked with Amanda Watts. We are taking a break from our Springwood for the medium term. All Springwood patients and clients can book in for a zoom appointment or if you want to work with one of the best and make real change happen, the trip to Blackheath or Leura is worth it. If you are a couple or parent and child booking in, I very much recommend booking on different days (not consecutive appointments).

Health coaching is about creating a non-judgemental space, to remove barriers that stand in the way of creating the life you most want. By working out what is most important to you and developing the skills you need to create sustainable change, you can become the healthiest version of yourself.

Rebates

Department of Veteren’s Affairs (DVA) 

Consults for Gold card holders, referred by their GP will be covered in full by DVA.

Medicare 

Medicare rebates may be available through the Medicare Plus initiative for patients with complex health needs who are referred by their GP under a specific Team Care Plan (Item no. 10954). The current rebate is $58.30 for up to five consultations/year.

Medicare rebates are also now available for people diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and other specified feeding and eating disorders (there is a specific criteria). You can access 20 rebated dietetic sessions along with 40 rebated sessions of psychological therapy. Private Health Funds 

We are a registered provider for all major private health funds. Rebates vary across health funds so please check with your individual health fund to determine your eligibility for a rebate.

* We require payment on the day of consultation and ask that you provide 24hrs notice of cancellation or a fee may be charged. We accept card, cash or cheque.
