Health coaching is about creating a non-judgemental space, to remove barriers that stand in the way of creating the life you most want. By working out what is most important to you and developing the skills you need to create sustainable change, you can become the healthiest version of yourself.

Option 1 $215 up front payment for workshop for private patients for initial consultation and 8x 1hr workshop sessions.

Option 2 $95 initial consult (Medicare rebate is $67.95 with valid GP medicare referral). The 8 workshop sessions (4 food/ nutrition for diabetes and 4 exercise sessions) are then bulk billed. If a patient is under financial stress and needs to be bulk billed for the initial consultation, we can do that.

Rebates

Department of Veteren’s Affairs (DVA) 

Consults for Gold card holders, referred by their GP will be covered in full by DVA.

Medicare 

Medicare rebates may be available through the Medicare Plus initiative for patients with complex health needs who are referred by their GP under a specific Team Care Plan (Item no. 10954). The current rebate is $54.60 for up to five consultations/year.

Medicare rebates are also now available for people diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and other specified feeding and eating disorders (there is a specific criteria). You can access 20 rebated dietetic sessions along with 40 rebated sessions of psychological therapy. The InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders provides excellent information individuals, GP’s and health practitioners on the new funding https://insideoutinstitute.org.au

Private Health Funds 

We are a registered provider for all major private health funds. Rebates vary across health funds so please check with your individual health fund to determine your eligibility for a rebate.
